ARAG completes double at Personal Injury Awards

ARAG has picked up both the Insurance Provider of the Year and Case Funding Provider of the Year awards at the 2024 Personal Injury Awards, in a ceremony held at the Hilton Deansgate hotel in Manchester, last week.

The company scooped the Insurance Provider of the Year prize, ahead of a strong field of entries, for its work in helping children and families achieve access to justice in maternity cases.

Commenting on the win, the judges said that they were impressed with ARAG’s focus on maternity claims, adding that “They’ve done a lot of great work in (this) space, going the extra mile to really make a difference for their clients.”

ARAG collected the Case Funding Provider of the Year award for the work it has done extending the company’s ARAG Advance funding solution beyond the clinical negligence sector, to make funding available to law firms working on other types of case, including complex personal injury and industrial disease claims.

The judges said that they were impressed because extending ARAG Advance beyond clinical negligence is “...having a much more holistic benefit on a wider range of people.”

Responding to the double-win, Head of Sales in ARAG’s ATE business Mike Knight said:

It’s great to have all the hard work that the team has put in recognised by our peers, but I am particularly pleased that our impact with law firms working on a large number of very difficult birth injury cases has been acknowledged.

This is the second year in a row that ARAG has won the Case Funding Provider award and the third time that the company has been presented with the Insurance Provider of the Year trophy in the past 5 years.
