You serve notice of eviction

Where you need to evict your tenant, your policy may require you to serve notice on them before we can help. A lawyer gets to work

Your lawyer will undertake an initial assessment of the likelihood of your legal case being successful. This review, referred to as a ‘reasonable prospects assessment’ must conclude that your case has a greater chance of being successful than not for it to proceed.

If your tenant doesn't leave voluntarily, there may be a need to go to court, but don’t worry; your lawyer will manage your case through this process and help you prepare should you need to attend.

We assess your claim

Once your claim has been submitted, we will assess it against your specific policy details to make sure you’re covered. If not, we’ll let you know as soon as possible, but if you are then we’ll send details of your claim to a lawyer to start working on your case.

Work continues on your case

Assuming your case continues to enjoy reasonable prospects of success, and all other requirements of your policy are met, a lawyer will work with you from start to finish. They’ll keep you updated throughout and ask for any relevant supporting information that may be required for your case.
